Supervision

 

​Our team of highly-skilled supervision workers offer an empowering and child-centred approach, to ensure that children remain safe in their parent/s / guardian/s care, whilst social work assessments are completed. The supervision team provides support, guidance, prompts and interventions in line with nationally recognised guidelines (NHS and NICE guidelines), to ensure that children’s safety and care needs are met.

Daily (typed) logs are provided and regular meetings occur, to ensure that relevant professionals, including the Local Authority and Family Courts, remain updated as to the family’s journey, as the assessment progresses. ​

The supervision team is managed by a qualified and experienced Expert Witness /  Social Work Manager, to ensure that all safeguarding concerns are responded to promptly and effectively.​
